MES Central School, Tirur, observed Anti-Drugs Day with a special assembly held today, highlighting the importance of creating awareness among students about the dangers of drug abuse. The assembly was thoughtfully organized to promote a strong anti-drug message and to encourage students to adopt healthy and responsible lifestyles. As part of the programme, students who actively participated in various anti-drug–related activities and programmes were honoured with certificates and prizes in recognition of their efforts and commitment. The highlight of the assembly was the inspiring message delivered by Mr. VP Madhusoodanan, the Principal of MES Central School, Tirur. In his address, he spoke in detail about the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society. He emphasized the role of students in making informed choices, resisting negative influences, and becoming responsible citizens. His words left a deep impact, and the students listened to the message with great interest and attention. Later in the afternoon, school counseling department organized flash mob and rapid quiz. The students were thrilled and informed.
