The Oratory and Debate Club of Senior Secondary MES Central School, Tirur successfully conducted its first session on 8 July 2026 in the Conference Hall. The session was led by the inspiring members of Team Soul Speaks Wasiya Wafa, Vani Krishna and Aishah(our Alumni students). The programme began with a warm welcome by the Club In-charge, Noonu Moidu.
The speakers emphasized that public speaking is a powerful tool for building confidence, leadership, and creating positive change. They explained that debate is not about winning arguments but about standing for justice, speaking against injustice and giving a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves. Students were encouraged to discover their purpose in life, value their parents, make responsible choices, stay away from drugs, and grow into “Toofan Warriors”-young leaders who embody courage, discipline,resilience and a commitment to building a better society.
An engaging interactive session followed,during which students enthusiastically asked questions,clarified their doubts, and exchanged ideas with the guests. The inspiring session marked a promising beginning for the club’s journey. The program was concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Iyrin of Class 7A.
