Republic Day Celebrated The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at Tirur MES Central School, where the School Principal, Mr. Madhusoodanan V P hoisted the national flag. Assistant Excise Inspector Mr. Biju Parol (Excise Department, Liaison Officer, Vimukthi Mission) attended the function as the Chief Guest. In his Republic Day message, the Chief Guest said that parents often realize changes occurring in children very late, and emphasized that each one of us should become messengers of anti-drug awareness. He called upon everyone to move forward together to achieve the goal of a healthy younger generation and a strong nation. The function was presided over by School Chairman Advocate Mr.Hussain Koya Thangal, and the School Head Girl R. Anamika delivered the welcome address. School Secretary Mr. Salam Lillis P A addressed the gathering. School Treasurer Mr. Abdul Jaleel K Joint Secretary Mr. Najumudheen Kallingal, other management members, School Vice Principal Mr. Benny P T teachers, parents, and students participated in the programme. Various cultural programmes and a yoga demo presented by the students added to the charm of the event. School Head Boy Mohammed Shifan proposed the vote of thanks.
